The papers presentation at the conference should report on original research or technical developments and their applications, they should contain quality scientific or technical information and must not be considered for publication or presentation elsewhere.

For the purposes of the conference examples of natural working fluids are: water, ammonia, hydrocarbons, air and CO2.  HFO’s are not included in the conference definition of a natural working fluid. Papers will be considered if the natural working fluid is used in association with non natural working fluid, e.g. HFC or HFO, in either a primary or secondary systems. Acceptance will be subject to review.

All those accepting the invitation to submit a paper should be aware that

  1. Authors must personally present their papers at the conference.
  2. All authors shall comply with the strict timetable for abstract and full-paper submittal.
  3. All authors shall take into account reviewers’ recommendations and comply with the review-process deadlines.
  4. All authors shall comply with the document entitled “Guidelines for Authors on the Presentation of Manuscripts” which can be viewed here.
  5. The allocation of papers to streams and themes is at the discretion of the conference organizers and paper may be moved to an alternative stream.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS is now closed.

Authors are kindly requested to submit an abstract of approximately 150 words in English. The abstract should contain: 1) title of the paper; 2) authors’ name and affiliation; 3) paper abstract; 4) keywords; 5) name, full address, phone number and email address of the corresponding author.

Abstracts and full manuscripts must be written in English. All the information, presentations and discussions will be in English.

The paper will be subject to a formal review process and authors may need to undertake some revisions as a result.  The final papers will be published in the conference proceedings and be distributed at the conference and SCOPUS and Web of Science. The entire manuscript for the final paper (i.e. text, figures, tables, references and abstracts) should not exceed eight (8) pages.

Conference Proceedings

Papers  presented at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings. These proceedings shall become part of the IIR’s Refrigeration Science and Technology series. The IIR shall own the copyright of the proceedings. Authors may publish updated versions of their papers in the International Journal of Refrigeration after the conference has taken place.
